Monarch
This design is based on an illustration by W.I. Beecroft on p. 233 of Butterflies Worth Knowing by Clarence M. Weed which was published in 1923. It shows a Monarch butterfly caterpilllar feeding, caterpillar hung up for pupation, chrysalis and adult.
